Frequently asked questions

Students use it for structured exam practice, parents follow progress, tutors provide feedback, and administrators manage the learning environment.
Both, and the page always says which. Multiple choice is marked the moment they submit, against the answer key from the board's own mark scheme. Written answers are marked within a minute or two by our marking engine, against that same mark scheme. Every mark is shown straight away; where the engine is less sure, it is also flagged for a person to check. A tutor can mark or re-mark any paper, and their mark replaces the engine's. If a mark looks wrong, ask the assistant on the home page and it will pass it to the team.
A mark on its own is not feedback. Every marked paper comes back question by question: what your child wrote, what the mark scheme credits, and what they were given — printable, so you can read it line by line and query anything that looks wrong. Alongside it: what to do differently next time, and the syllabus topics costing the most marks across every paper they have sat.
Yes. The responsive web experience works on modern mobile browsers, and a versioned mobile API is available for native app development.
Access is role-scoped. Parents see their own children, students see their own records, and tutors see only assigned learners.
Use "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in page, or ask the assistant on the home page to pass it to our team. Users with two-factor authentication can also use one of their one-time recovery codes.
